Also we did an activity where we programmed Mrs harvey to make jam butteys and it was REALLY funny to watch her act like she had NO idea what she was doing ^^

I learned how to use game maker and it wasn't as hard as it looked, because I made the spider chase the butterfly
and I programmed the room correctly, the spider and the butterfly too ^^

We made random games on game maker today and learnt how to make objects do all different stuff.

I read from the pink booklet and made and edited two games, one using a mouse and the other the keyboard, I learnt how to intoduce sound to different aspects of the games, also I learnt how to make a object react to a mouse button

I refined my games today, using the techniques I have learned through out the booklet we were working through, I added sound and backgrounds to my previous games and learned how to make things shoot

I learnt howm to put health/life bars on objects and how to make objects change the direction they physically face as you use the keys to direct them, it does take a fair while to programm the object to change it's physical direction

I learnt how to shoot bullets and it gave me a bit of trouble because the bullet wouldn't shhot out of the gun but rather beside it, I realised that I needed to arrange the co-ordinates properly and change the bullet sprite to something else so that it wouldn't explode half way up, I used the links posted on the main Wiki page to learn all this.

Friday I made random click games, and refined a monster maze game so that the levels got progressively harder to win, and the 'monsters' moved faster, I made it so that only the particular level your on restarts when you hit a 'monster'

Today i put these lovely spiders on mai page and i did the sac, i'm up to task 3 and it's getting hard, i can't jump yet and it's really annoying trying to figure it out ^^

i've figured out how to make a fly/jump button on game maker and it wasn't really that hard, i also realised that i had to scrap one of my earlier objects because it was faulty, and needed to be replaced. Some of task 4 i will be unable to do, which is unfortunate =/ but i will try to nut it out.
